The PTFE membrane is inherently hydrophobic, chemically inert and designed specifically for the removal of bacteria and viruses in compressed air and gas.<\/p>\n

The 0.2 \u00b5m sterilizing grade filter is validated for Brevundimonas diminuta (ATCC 19146) retention at a challenge level of 107<\/sup> cfu per cm2<\/sup> of membrane<\/em>.<\/p>\n

FilterTEF can also be used in sterilizing solvent filtration.<\/p>\n

FilterTEF cartridges are shipped with a certificate of conformity certifying the passing of internal quality controls. Each unit is tested for integrity during production and is supported by a documentation package for compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n

The materials comply with the relevant requirements of 21 CFR part 177-182, EC1935 \/ 2004, USP Plastics Class VI, EEC and current ISO 10993 equivalents.<\/p>\n
