Pleated membrane filter cartridge. PTFE hydrophobic membrane for gas and solvent sterilization. | For chemical-pharmaceutical, food or aqueous and / or alcoholic beverage applications.
The PTFE membrane is inherently hydrophobic, chemically inert and designed specifically for the removal of bacteria and viruses in compressed air and gas.
The 0.2 µm sterilizing grade filter is validated for Brevundimonas diminuta (ATCC 19146) retention at a challenge level of 107 cfu per cm2 of membrane.
FilterTEF can also be used in sterilizing solvent filtration.
FilterTEF cartridges are shipped with a certificate of conformity certifying the passing of internal quality controls. Each unit is tested for integrity during production and is supported by a documentation package for compliance with regulatory requirements.
The materials comply with the relevant requirements of 21 CFR part 177-182, EC1935 / 2004, USP Plastics Class VI, EEC and current ISO 10993 equivalents.
